Interesting. Northland does their own work as I understand it, I will call them and get the reamer specs for their 6br and report back.

Correct. James (the guy who you'll talk to if you call) knows and has all of the specs for their reamers.

ok thats good he has that info. i thought you meant they actually did the machining to chamber them.

I *think* they might. I believe they get barrel blanks and cut them to order. Not 100 percent sure as the one I ordered from them was a super common one they keep stocked. (FTR)

would make sense if they did but if so they should inform people about it. mabie they do i havent checked closely

6 br 28" barrel, easy 600 ydsl, low recoil, min 8 twist northland shooters is the place. I love my 6br, my 243 kicks more. You won't look back.

Yea I do think it could be hard to beat the 6BR in what you are wanting. The 6XC maybe just as good for what you are wanting and on the target may fair better at 600. The 6 creed I hear can be hit and miss on tune more like the 6-6.5x47L yes they are not the 6XC. I do believe the 6XC is just as accurate as the 6BR and easy to tune and keep in tune and the higher velocity allows less wind drift just a better choice. The 6XC often imitated never duplicated. Just Right and that is how it is. lol.....
