Are there any rifles out there that utilize controlled feed style extractor and feed from a double stack magazine?

Seems there are few that are CRF. The AICS is a single stack magazine. Some of the actions are actually cut for AI AW magazines, which are true double-stack. Some actions give the option between AICS or AW. If you buy one cut for AW, it tends to work with AICS as well, but you typically need to do some work on the magazine catch on your bottom metal. I believe Manners offers a different magazine catch for AW cut vs AICS. They sent me one of each on my last order.

Isn't the pre-64 mod 70 a double stack mag? It's an internal, though the principal is same for external, right?

I have a Savage 110 in 300 Win Mag that is what Savage folks call "staggered feed" and it is also CRF. Doesn't have the traditional Mauser style extractor though if that's what you're after. The rim does slide up under the extractor as the round comes up out of the mag rather than the extractor snapping over the rim.

Works fine in my Big Horn, but I could see it would be difficult with a full-length Mauser "claw".
