This post explains our procedure for listing Forum members who have contributed to the site.

I want to make sure that ALL Forum members who have contributed are acknowledged here in the forum.

SO... if you have made a donation to the site, and you do NOT see "Site $$ Contributor" and gold banner next to your name when you post, please post in this thread, or send me a private message. (Please indicate whether you donated via Paypal or via check.) I should be able to update your profile once I see the message. Note: we do ask for a minimum contribution of $25.00 to give "Site Contributor" status (Silver Level).


AND we have created a special member group of all those who contribute to the site. We are hoping to provide some additional board privileges to you guys, and maybe some other benefits.

Anyway, as noted, if you have donated to the site, but haven't been recognized yet in the Forum, please let me know.

... and after the recent site upgrades, maybe it's time for everyone to contribute (or contribute again) to support what we all agree is one of the most informative (if not THE most informative) websites devoted to accuracy shooting.

Speaking for myself, there is a lot more value here than in any of the shooting magazines except Precision Shooting, so a contribution equal to a year's subscription to a "regular" shooting mag seems very fair for all concerned.

I contributed $40 via check this past January. I don't think I mentioned what my Board name was when I sent in that check. I just sent in another check for $20 a few days ago, but this time I included my Board name in the letter and on the check. I don't have any green stars at all.
 
I think it would be a great idea to make the DONATE buttons pulse at a certain interval. Whether it be changing the font size at a certain frequency or whatever it takes, just something too help people notice the DONATE button. I'm sure that many people like me come to the site so often that they just overlook the DONATE button.

I donated a couple days ago. I used my visa card. Its not important to me to be recognized and i wouldnt have even mentioned it except that you asked. thanks for such a great site!! Lee
