Consolidation to 3 Calibers

I have tried a "one size fits all" approach to powders in the past but failed miserably. While I don't compete, I still strive for best accuracy. As an example, the powders I currently use because they offer the best performance in MY rifles are as follows:

.17 Remington 20-grain...AA2700
.17 Remington 25-grain...CFE223
.223 Remington 50-grain...AA2200
.22/250 Remington 52-grain Amax...CFE223
.243 Winchester 75-grain ...AA2700
.243 Winchester 80-87 grain...H4350
.280 Remington 139-grain...H4350
.280 Remington 150-grain...IMR4064
.30/06 Springfield 150-grain...AA2700
.30/06 Springfield 165-grain...IMR4064

As you can see, there is very little overlap in my powder selection versus cartridge or even bullet weight. My selections give the smallest groups with the particular bullet weights in MY rifles. You simply can't expect one powder to give the best accuracy in multiple cartridges and bullet weights.

Varget would do it. I love IMR4064 in 308 and 30/06 but it just doesn't work in my powder measure. Grains are too long. No experience with the N540.

Varget is great for all three. In the 308 with 155 grain bullets for Palma. In the 223 for all bullet weights. In the 6BR with a 105 Berger. I shoot all three and there is 30+ pounds of Varget on my shelf waiting to be used.
I only use Varget for .223 and .308. I did load some defensive .223 rounds using CFE223 only because it gave me the best velocity, 3,050 fps from a 16" AR15. For everything else I use Varget.
