I recently asked Nesika to cone the bolt face on a new repeater they're building for me. They told be they don't put conical faces on repeaters because they feed poorly from a magazine.
Though I don't have much experience in this matter, I was always under the impression that conical bolt faces feed better from magazines than straight faced bolts. I know David Tubb preaches this, and designed it into the Tubb 2k), and I'm pretty sure that during my talks with Al Warner he said he prefers conical faces for repeaters as well. Is Nesika just hesitant to do the extra machine work or are they correct? I tried searching around the forums and didn't find many answers.
