I took mine out Sunday afternoon and this same thing you speak of happens to me every time I shoot my Hornet. 4 rounds in a nice single hole then one round flies 1” from the other 4. I have shot 2 different Hornets with basically the same results. I will say my Savage has been way more consistent than my Ruger.Don't apologise! It's just me letting my incurably pedantic side get out of control again. I have a personal grouch with this cartridge too having tried it many years ago in a well-used old Savage 340 and never overcoming its tendency to produce 4+1 groups, the 4 often being wonderfully close together and the 1 an inch or more away from the others at 100 yards.
100% correct.Like he said, they are hornets that use .223 and some .224
Referring to “you got the wrong bullets” post100% correct.
However you said, “Like he said…”
I can’t find who “he” is. Just concerned I’m not getting all the posts before yours, or I can’t spot it
