Concerned with a new load for my .223

I just got a new howa varminter .223 for " everyday" gun. Im really really enjoying this thing! But, I worked up a load ending up with 28.6gr H335, 40gr vmax COL 2.228 ( I think), rem 7.5's, winchester brass. Zero pressure signs as far as I can tell with great accuracy. Called it good enough, was 59 degrees as well. So I decide to run them over 2 chrono's. Basically 3820fps....Does this sound reasonable? its a 1 in 12 twist. Im just worried, should I be?

You're fine if there are no signs of overpressure. The 40gr. load for my 20" .223 is doing 3895. In the 26" barrel gun, best 40gr accuracy is at 4010.

Ok good to know! It seemed that the more I push the H335 the better it gets? Burns cleaner too. At 26 grs the bore was extremely dirty and now it looks as if I never shot it.

Wow, I didn't know that the 223 was capable of spitting a 40gr pill that fast! I don't have a chrony so I might be there already. Seems like that should shread prairie dogs!
