Complicated question about dies

I looked this up and cannot find the proper terminology for the question I am about to ask, I apologize and will be descriptive as possible about my question. What is this die called and where can they be purchased

I have seen pictures of a sizing die that pushes the shoulder of a cartridge back as far as you want. The picture I seen was 223 brass going through this die and it ended up with a neck like an inch long. The sizing die had a hole in the top where the neck was coming through. I am guessing its for sizing brass for wildcatting purposes. I very very much apologize for the lack of description on my question and if the question is too vague Ill respectfully request for the topic to be removed. Thanks for any and all replies....

Very Respectfully

I use a Bushing Bump Neck sizing die which bumps the shoulder back to your set dimension and sizes the neck only.

I'm with Chuck on this one. Sounds like a form die to move the shoulder back on a standard case in order to make a shorter version. I first started shooting IBS Score matches in the Hunter class. I cut .200" from the bottom of a full length 308 sizing die and sized the cases. Trimmed the .200" off of the necks and had what was referred to as a "30 Doggie". I just ran my 308 reamer in the barrel and stopped .200" short. The case just made the minimum capacity requirement and shot well with 125-135 Gr. bullets.

I think paul aka pbike57 still has some for sale. Shadetree used to make them. I have one of those plus one made by mark spencer for forming a five seven style round i make. Lots of steps and support to do it right.
