Colt Stock ID

I have a sporter stock w/ a composite Colt logo butt plate and a small medallion (brass???) inletted just ahead of the floor-plate inletting. It appears to be inletted for a Mauser configured receiver. There is also a composite grip cap that is checkered. The stock is checkered at the grip and sides of the forend. The wood is very light colored. All appears original and shows evidence of having a bbl'd action bolted in at one time. It does not appear to have been used otherwise. There are no sling swivels installed.
Can anyone ID this for me.
I know pics work wonders, but I am currently w/o pic capabilities.
Thank You.

Does it have a monte carlo cheekrest? If it does then it may be a colt57 or coltsman standard rifle.

Put it on here with at least a pic or two.Keep in mind ,it would be probable to make it fit any large ring commercial mauser in reality.
