Colored lam. stocks

What kind of die do thay use to color the wood laminated stocks?

They are some very nice looking stocks especially at Master Class Stocks.

Rutland Plywood Corporation doesn't mention what type of dye or MSDS on their website.

I wonder if you could dye a stock after it has been glued up and shaped?

Some companys dye the laminate layers and then glue them up.

The amount of die that it would take to effectively die a whole stock would probably cause it to warp. Thats why you die all those thin pieces first and then subject them to some very high pressures and alot of resin.

Depends on how much you want to change the color. Some of the guys are using a Automotive Clear Coat (spray can) with a color tint. Red, Green, Blue..
Depends on what you're trying to do.
