Colorado Governor to sign gun controls into law.........

This is the "Accurate Shooter" website. NOT Peyton Place.

Peyton Place? Just wait. This is the first of many feelgood/do-nothing laws that will ultimately destroy the second amendment. Precedence set. Other states will follow.

The very reason this site exists, is now becoming endangered. Gun toting liberals will be saying " They're not coming for your guns" right up to confiscation day.

Just wait til the next whack job on anti-depressants uses a " target rifle" . Then your precious single shot bench guns, that you thought would be exempt , will be outlawed.

Newscasters..." Did you know that these TARGET RIFLES can hit a dime at 300yds ?!?!?!?! I mean who NEEDS that kind of accuracy?? Why?? So you can shoot someone from long distance?!?! "

I can hear it now.

Kinda on topic but, off a little! I watched a clip of the senate hearings on the assault weapons ban last week and after watching Feinstein talk I wanted to punch her in the throat! That woman is off her rocker just like this Colorado governor. I hate to say it but, I live in the welfare wonderland Michigan and I'm curious as to what our elected representation has to say on this matter?

Mike

We must all stick together. Bowfisher is right it is just a stepping stone. Well they will call your bench gun a sniper’s rifle. You know who needs them?

NOBODY is taking 1 thing from me. All i got to say is LETS GET IT ON.

I understand that statement, complettly and totally. I have said it myself as recently as this morning. Now with that said we live in the real world, with real people and real circumstances. So I have a question for you. Before I ask that question maybe we should have a conversation about this very subject.

What do you think they are going to do to get your guns? Do you think they will send the local Officer over to just ask please and pretty please may I have your weapons? And when you refuse and say no. Do you think they will just go away and forget about it?

No man that is not going to happen. They are going to use what ever they need to get them. They will use as many men as they have to, they will use as much force as they will have to, and in then end they will shoot you just as dead as they have to.

If it comes down to this getting the guns, as much as we all protest yell at the rain and put on a big show they "WILL" get the guns, and if nessasary kill you if you protest them taking them. Show up at the front door with a pistol in your hand and by law they have all the reason they need to shoot you down right were you stand.

So back to that question. What are you willing to do to stop them if all else fails and they get the law past?

Roland

When a state with the rich Western heritage and noted big-game hunting of Colorado can pass a law like this, "we the people" better get off our shooting benches and spend some time in the legislatures and political offices of our states and country.

How can a country where, supposedly, 80,000,000 firearms were sold last year and the NRA, supposedly, is grew by 200,000 per quarter, be in fear of any legislative body passing gun-control laws? This is the epitome of "speak now or forever hold your peace" (because you won't have a "piece"). Don't kid yourself, if the gov't decides it wants your guns, you're done. They have NICS records, satellites, heat-seeking cameras, FFL records, etc. ... it's not like the old days. The only chance we could ever stand in any confrontation with the gov't would be with the military in rebellion and on our side.

The liberals are running amok and the only thing to stop them is us, doing our duty, making our voices heard, and bringing pressure to bear on the politicians who, too often, only hear from "them".

Roland,
They steal from me everytime i get paid and it is never enough for them to squander, give away, play golf with Tiger Woods all the time and all the things they should not be doing with it. What i am saying is i have a line drawn and come across it and try to steal some more from me and lets see what happens. It will not be pretty and the sissy boys will have to burn my place down with me in it like they are good at doing to get it. I should not have even clicked on this and read it as all it does is fuel the fire inside me. Straighten up, quit stealing from me and we may be able to get along.

i was recently in CA, couple weeks ago. state legislature was talking about passing a law to confiscate legally bought weapons from folks that had a change in legal status; after purchase - - something like; convicted of a felony, someone asks for an order of protection or mental status changed. THINGS are moving fast as I understand it,it is now a law funded with 24 million dollars for specific enforcement.

WE MUST STAY INFORMED AND ON POINT!

Write them & ask them! They are there to serve you, not the other way around. Let them know were you stand.
