I want to start shooting f/tr some time in the next year. Where can i find information on where and when the matches are? I live in Colorado Springs does anyone know of a club or a range that holds these competitions?

Check out Colorado Rifle Club's website/match schedule. They've got the premier 600-1000yd. range in Co., but I've been told their LR prone schedule for this season isn't going to be as busy as last year - IIRC - mostly due to lack of help running as many matches as they used to have scheduled. Anyone in the know about CRC's LR prone schedule please step in and correct me if I'm wrong on this.

CRC has a few matches this year. I'm going there to shoot in the 4th Annual Midwestern Armed Forces Memorial Match & NRA High Power & Mid Range Regional Championships. I shoot F-Class.
You are also not too far from Raton. There are several matches there.

I am over on the western slope. We have a 1000 yard range near Hotchkiss and will be holding our first 1000 yard prone match in May and Palma matches in June and July.
