Do you use the wintersof model ?

Yes. I buy them in boxes of six pairs. My kids all have them too. Of course, it helps that I am a wholesaler (I run a GC) and get an aditional 25% off of wholesale since I am the "pro".

I always have a pair in each snowmobile in case we have trouble and have to do some wrenching. They keep the hands warm and I can keep the dextarity in my fingers.

I've never found a pair of gloves that would keep my fingers usable, so now use the handwarmers available at the big box stores, for about $1.00 per pair. When it's really cold, the handwarmers are kept inside the gloves & the right glove is removed only during firing.

If temperatures are not extreme the handwarmers are kept in the coat pockets & when not firing, hands are kept in the pockets.

The "wait till it's time to shoot" thing works well on the bench. But, I also hunt a lot and may sit behind the gun for 15 min waiting for the shot.

Like I said, I have no problem with a 2 oz trigger. No problem feeding and loading ammo...ect.

They work for me.....your milage may vary.

Everything I've tried was a compromise so now I use a pair of North Face except for actually shooting
for which I remove the right one. I realize this is a poor hunting solution.

I have a pair of fairly thin running gloves that I bought at a running store or REI a few years back. I just cut the tip of the index finger off, and so far it hasn't frayed in over 4 years. I originally cut the tip of the index finger off so I could use a smartphone but it works great for shooting too. I use it during F-class matches and don't notice much difference other than my hand now stays warm.
