Cold Bore

Im going to be working on the load for my new 6dasher and was wondering what people do to keep their barrels cool between shots. In the winter it isn't a problem but in the summer with the air temp already being hot how cold does the bore need to be for it to be considered a cold bore shot?

i'v used some stick on temp things and try to keep the temp below a certain number. there is a lot of waiting. now i'll soak a cotton towel and lay along the barrel and feel till cool... a bit quicker. usu have several guns and rotate, sometimes having two cooling.

If you can spare the time , when it gets to your "local" winter temps go to the range and shoot 1 shot (ONLY) every day for a week or 2 and take notes on the temp, humid, bar.press, wind etc. use the same target with shot notes on border.
