coating bore with hbn

I do tumble my bullets with hbn, and coat my bore with the alcohol/hbn . i have been thinking about if it would work with a hbn/Kroil mixture, applied very thin, and followed with either a patch or brush. Might be trying to reinvent the mousetrap, but would it be plausible....better, or worse....rsbhunter

I know a LOT of rimfire shooters were coating the bores with Lock Ease Graphite lube. Coat a patch, run it down the bore, give it a chance to dry out and go shooting.

THE ALCOHOL EVAPORATES, leaving an hbn coating.
kroil will not

That is true, but kroil is known to get into some incredibly mico places, thought maybe it would lock the hbn into machine marks, etc better than a powder residue...like I said, more curiosity than science...
