I'm just gonna load to hornady book specs. I called them and the tech said it's best to just run them at their book length. Said that's where they performed best.
I realize mag length is the main factor in ARs. Most mags are 2.260" and the ASC I have are 2.315" which is why I was inquiring about the longer length.
According to a few guys here though, you can't even load them to 2.250" without getting into the lands. So Hornadys length at 2.240" and 2.230" must be right.
