Clinch River Bullets

I have nothing against the "Boutique" bullet makers. However you have to understand that some of these are one man operations and if they become very popular it may take weeks or even months to fill your order. Some guys order thousands at a time just so they don't run out....and there in lies the rub.
What started out as a nice little side business many times turns into a nightmare for the bullet maker when faced with lots of orders.
He can try to get someone to help, usually a family member, go semi or full commercial with employees etc., limit who he sells bullets to, which makes for hard feelings, or throw in the towel which happens a lot. I've never made bullets but have heard it really isn't tons of fun for the dollars gained.
To the shooter the best magic bullet in the world isn't much good if you can't buy,beg,borrow or steal some when you run out.
Some of the short range benchrest bullet makers are very good as to their availability and delivery times. My hats off to them, I won't name names here, you know who they are. Some of the others however are here today and gone tomorrow so that's why I'll stick with the big time commercial names like Berger, Sierra,Lapua,etc. If the demands there so is the supply.
