This. Dillon lube is lanolin based. Once the tumbler and pins get so much lube on them it has no where to go so cases don’t get clean and look tarnished.You need to clean your pins with degreaser. That dull finish is from lube that is not completely emulsified. Run your tumbler with just the degreaser, pins, and hot water then rinse with hot water.
If you are using a lanolin based lube, it also helps greatly if prior to tumbling you prewash the brass with degreaser to break down the lanolin oil. Do not use water in this step. A quick 60 second prewash and rinse prior to tumbling will give you a better result and also help with keeping the pins cleaner.
