CleanIng rod for savage ftr

Hello, I was wondering what cleaning rods you guys use to clean your savage 12 F/TR's. The longest rod I can find local is 36inches and I don't think that will be long enough ?

Sinclair sells Dewey rods that are 44". That's what I use, along with their chamber guide.

I have a 12FTR in .308 -I use a 44" Tipton carbon rod. Works great.
If you have the .223 model make sure and watch the diameter of the rod you are buying.............

I've got Tipton rods and they have served me well for some years now.

A lot of times Tipton's are out of stock. I have a few GunSlick carbon rods that are nice and a bit cheaper.
