Cleaning rod for .264 (6.5)

All of my cleaning rods are .250" diameter. Is that too big for .264 caliber? I love my Pro Shot stainless rod and hope I can use it. I use Lucas bore guides so hopefully flex won't be too much of an issue.

In my opinion it is too tight and would suggest a dewey rod which is for .22 and up.
