what patches are you guys using round, square and what size and brand ?

My belief is that patch size and shape are dictated by what size and style jag you are using. I'm using a bore tech .22lr jag on my 457 and was told by BT to use a 1" square. I use a different jag for my 2500X and use a 1" round patch. Hope that helps. By the way your rod diameter is dictated by your bore guide or visa versa.

I use 3 inch square Proshots cut in quarters makes 4, 11/2 patches wrapped around a parker hale jag. Nice and snug. I'll Never go back to pierce style jags again. Same patches with 6mm too.

Pro shot 1" round or 1 1/8" square, depending on the gun.

I use the tri angle and pro shot, in the various sizes for a given caliber.

I use these. With a short jag on a 20 cal rod i pull off a few threads on each side

I buy 12ga cotton patches because I shoot alot of shotgun sports anymore.... Then cut them to size... A little bit of a pain but if I bought patches for every caliber I own it would be a Wally world bag full....

With a Pro-Shot products 22 stainless rod and 22 cal jag. I use 1 3/8" square Pro-Shot products patches. Nice snug fit. As what you want.

.20 cal pro shot rod & jag. 1 1/2 pro shot round patches.
You don't want them so tight you're bending the rod as it going thru the bore.

Pro Shot 1 1/8" square on a bore rider delrin jag, 22 caliber Ivey rod and appropriate rod guide in the action. Patch size can vary with the diameter of your patch jag.
