Cleaning face of action locking lugs

When I'm done cleaning a barrel, I stick the barrel down in a garbage can and spray this in the lug area, if the action has a vent, plug it. Throw some compressed air at it, put it back in the cradle, clean the chamber, jag barrel twice, good to go. Grease the bolt lugs again and go shooting.

Cut one end off of a plastic cotton swab. Insert a straightened paper clip all the way into the swab (don't poke through). Bend the swab end 90 degrees. Clean away.
