Cleaning brass

For large quantities I like to tumble before sizing so that the brass is clean before going into my dies and then after to remove the Imperial lube.
Anyone got an easy way to get the media out of the flash holes?
I have a decapping rod from an old die with the pin in it still ( dont remember brand) I threaded it onto a small wooden door knob and glued it in. Fits in the palm of your hand nicely so when you are inspecting cases you can use plenty of pressure and still have good control to flick those pesky klingons away. I'd put up a photo but I have just loaned it out to a new shooter.

I read one fellow's post somewhere where he quipped that he was making ammunition not jewelry so he wasn't concerned about shiny brass. I understand his meaning, but at least with my eyes, at my age, shiny brass is a lot easier to inspect for defects.
