I tried to look number up. Says nothing found

I do have my LR Classification. But still nothing showing up. I'm trying to get my MR classification card. I posted my required number of firings for it

Andrew,

It may take awhile to get your new classification. I shot my last match on November 15th and got my new classification card in the mail a week ago.

On your classification card, is the number the same as your NRA number? If you attended matches and did not provide your NRA number they will generate one for you. Also, when the NRA receives a score, it will post something even if you have not reached the required number of shots to get a classification. It will just show up as unclassified. If nothing shows up, it means the NRA never received any scores with that NRA number. You should contact the club where you shot these matches and find out if they have your number right and if they have submitted the scores. Do that first, then contact the NRA if the scores were sent in.

Thank you

I think I may know what it is. Back in Nov 2013 I shot a match. in Feb 2014 I got NRA Card/membership. Shot another match in October 2014. So that might be the issue

Look up using the number on your card. That long string of digits right below your classification in BOLD.

last year they turned them in around Christmas and I had a new card in early Jan. I am wondering myself because I just checked mine the other day and nothing has changed. Call or email Bill and see what you find out. Then try the NRA. when I called a while back it took a long wait to get through. Matt

I suggest you contact NRA to make sure that your scores are logged in under your NRA number. Supposedly they can make the link using your name and address, but don't leave it up to chance and use your NRA number all the time. Make sure the clubs you shoot at have your NRA number, especially if you got it after you signed up with them.

I emailed Sheri today. Still not showing MR classification. Says unclassified but I shot enough record shots to have gotten SS classification. I've shot two MR matches only and avg 92.4% total for 120 shots

Hope they can get my classification card to me soon and get this figured out

Also anyone help me with this one. To be reclassified I know you have to shoot higher score for at least 120 shots for record score. So if you shoot that requirement in league matches and then shoot more matches after that but not the higher category scores will you get reclassified?

I read the rules but still not 100% clear on this one

If you shoot >=120 shots at a higher classification level, which comprise the complete score(s) of approved or registered match(es), you will be reclassified.

Provided the scores get reported. It all hinges on that. But if at one point you had say two consecutive 60-shot matches where you scored high enough to be reclassified AND the scores were sent in, you should be reclassified even if subsequent scores were lower.
