clamp on bolt knob for a V-1 Turbo action

Now that I understand what "etching" is, and how to load a round into the chamber,(it sure ain't like centerfire benchrest shooting) now there's another issue...
It's this big round monstrousity that is sitting at the end of my barrel. Surely takes away the slender look of a nice barrel. Not sure why it is there yet. Seeing the marks on it I thought it might just be some sort of a fancy micrometer. I think you shooters out there call it a "tuner"???:)

That there tuner is important to your gun, you’d best learn about it and tuning.
Lastly, FWIW, since you’re a raw rookie, you must learn how to clean the throat of your chamber, this is not like CF and it relates DIRECTLY to your issue. With carbon/lead that builds up with as few as 100-200 rounds, chambering gets substantially tougher, don’t do anything until you are sure you get it, and keep it free of hard, repeat hard fouling that ultimately forms a hard, restrictive ring.

I'm sure the tuner is a very important device on the rifle. At this stage of the game I don't really believe I need to mess with it until I get other issues taken care of. Like rifle setup, finding an ammo that is promising, reading the wind, etc. The fastest race car will not win a race unless the driver is qualified to drive it.
This rifle as far as I have allready seen has great potential. I just need time, patience, and keep my ears open to you shooters out there as to what you have to say.
I really think that I am going to enjoy the sport of rimfire shooting.

I tried calling this number,(540 438 1870 but I believe it's disconnected
Check your email, I responded to your inquiry. I am out of town this week for the Holiday and I am aware there is an issue with the phone lines at the shop. I believe it is a hardware issue which I will resolve when I return next week.
