Citizen CB-60 Scale?

Anyone used one of the Citizen CB-60 scales? Good to 0.05gr.

Am thinking it might be a good alternative to the Gem Pro 250, which seems to get poor reviews on reliability and support when there is a problem (not infrequently).

First, I believe folks that bought their GemPro from Will Knott are happy customers for the most part.

Second, this balance, I think, is a strain gauge balance like the GemPro and will have the same delay in responding to small trickles.

Third, I am still really enjoying my Ohaus TS200 that I got on ebay for less than these balances!

I heard that the Citizen CB-60 is pretty much the same scale as the Gempro 250. It is supposedly made by the same Chinese company that makes the Gempro 250. If you look at them and read the specs they are pretty close to each other in many aspects. They are both of the strain gauge type scales. The Gempro 250 has a higher max weight and a little more accuracy. I looked at my Gempro user manual and the CB-60 manual on line and many of the steps in setting up and using the scale are identical. I had problems with my Gempro, sent it in and just received a new one from MyWeigh. But when I sent it in I decided to purchased a new FX-120i scale which is of the magnetic resonance type scale for $400 Canadian. I received it about a week ago and it is so much better than the Gempro that it will be my main scale now. See the subject "Looking For Precision Weight Scale" in the reloading Forum about the FX-120i.
