Citi bank restricts gun sales

I had a card with Citibank for over 30 years and after reading how antigun they were called and cancelled the card and told them the reason....They didn't care..Later

For what it's worth, Wells Fargo not long ago actually told some gun control activists (publicly) to piss off, and that they had no interest in regulating legal businesses (I'm paraphrasing). If you're in need of a big national bank, they're worth a look. They get that the logical conclusion of these shenanigans is that the banks become government pawns for political ends. Naturally, banks like it the other way around. Greed is sometimes a motivation for the greater good.

I do my part the best way i can, I don't ask banks for money . Ownership by debt does not interest me ...That being said,i do realize how all this works and know it is not a pretty sight .

Once you get jerked around by ANY bank, no matter how big or small, it's time to move on. Local Credit Unions seem to be more interested in the "little guy" than the BIG banks where you're just a number. Got away from Wells Fargo AND Bank of America because they wern't taking care on ME and my $$! Loved the look on their faces when they had to cut me a check to close out my accounts.;) My local bank that I've been dealing with for the last 10+ years is all over my needs.
Tried to get my hands on my sisters $$ to pay her bills (I have a DPOA to do just that) and Wells Fargo wanted more paper work, that they've already had for over 4 years. Last straw!!!
One call to my local bank, a quick transfer and the $$ were available when needed. Funny how fast a bank can move when they care about YOUR business.

Did have issues with ONE local Credit Union. Tried to get $$ amounts on a CD and got two different figures?? Almost like they didn't care? They were in the middle changing hands but in my mind, that was no excuse.
In person visit, took that $30K + down the street to MY local bank and never looked back. Getting WAY TOO OLD to be jerked around. IT'S MY MONEY AND I WAN'T IT NOW!! :D
