chronograph question please

If you can find one for a good price a oehler 35p will serve you well for under 500. Good luck their. But neco makes the PVM-08 for around 700. Its one of the best i have used for the few small quarks that it has. It has never failed to read and is very very consistent. Also works in any weather condition including at night. There is also the CED which is a cheaper chrono that a few people have good comments on. I have never used one myself.

You'll be a luckier man than I to find an Oehler 35P. Oehler stopped manufacturing that model several years ago and if someone has one you'll likely have to pry it from their cold dead hands.

I purchased the CED M2 and have been very pleased with its performance, easy of use, and ability to interface with a PC. You could do far worse.

I second Notaguru on two points. The PVM-21 system is an excellent chronograph and the best, non-professional unit available. I also agree that quarks are small. ;)
