I am considering buying a Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 28 Nosler. Do any of you own one or have any information on them? Accurate? Are they worth the $2,000 asking price? I have been thinking about a lighter hunting rig for awhile.
Thanks

I have 2 Ridgeline's - one in .30-06 SPRG and one in 300 Win Mag. They are perfect weight for me and both of mine are shooters. I have older one's (2014-ish where they are both Savage 110 ring bases, while the newer are Rem 700 bases. I also have a 6.5 Creedmoor Mesa and MPR 338 Lapua Mag with CF barrel that are the Rem 700 bases, My Lapua is a tack driver and I haven't even started working up a load.... or I just got lucky with the mild load I picked to break in the barrel because it was under .5" MOA during break-in. I've heard a fair amount of bad things about the newer ones like my Mesa, but I've personally received good customer service from them and like mine enough that I would consider another one.

FYI- they all shoot Berger VLD Hunting bullets the best, but I've also used Nosler Accubonds and Hornady ELD-X extremely well.

Thanks denruter, I also would be shooting Bergers.

I have a Ridgeline in 28 Nosler. With good load development, it will shoot into 3/4 MOA. It did take about 200 rounds of load work with different powders and bullets to find the right combination but it is a nice hunting rifle. The only issue I have with mine is that after shooting the 200 rounds in load development, a scope review of the bore shows premature fire cracking for the first 4 inches of the barrel. Based on what I’m seeing in the borescope, I suspect the barrel will only last about 600 rounds. For a hunting rifle, that’s a lot of hunts but you might want to look at a round that’s not quite the barrel burner this one is. Just my thoughts.
