Cheep Scope Caps

I am looking for cheep scope caps. I do not need them for hunting, just something to keep dust off of them in the safe or solvent from getting on the ocular lens when cleaning. Ideas?

If you can find the right diameter size ones, cut the bottom of old pill bottles off the length you want them.

Plastic wrap, like Saran Wrap or Glad Cling Wrap, or as suggested above, sandwich baggies and rubber bands or tape to hold them snug in place.

If I buy em I buy the Bikini type rubber ones. But I have used an old inner tube many times.

Do an on line search for "Capplugs" I think Graingers and McMaster Carr sell them in small quantities.

An old Clean Sock and some String or Rubber Bands . Cut a slit in the Sock if it's on a Rifle . Take your Scope & Sock to a Gun Show ( like I have ) and you will strike up some unusual conversations about your Custom Scope Cover !

Very cheap on ebay if you get the ones from China. Takes several weeks to arrive.
