CHEEK RISER-- CHEAP EASY--ADJUSTABLE--ANY RIFLE

I needed a little cheek riser on my Savage BVSS-- I Took wifes old yoga mat--cut pieces--slightly fold over top of stock --then wrap with Horse tape from local farm store--you can adjust--use single layer, two, three--whatever it takes for your rig--It has worked out Great!! Cut left over mat into pieces for non slip surface to clean guns, reloading bench, you name it. Easy to adjust --removes in a jiffy with no residue etc

Tape is less than $3 a roll and every yard sale in America has a used yoga mat for $1 They are Great on the work or reloading bench for good no scratch work surface

Having proper cheek weld / eye alignment with scope is critical to accurate shooting.

Besides the DIY cheek riser above, I've used the camo wrap on shotguns when laying out in fields shooting geese. Very handy and comes right off, no cleanup!

It works on anything we might need to dull reflections or hide the shape of hunting stuff in the field.

They make camo vet wrap for guns and it is about $12/ roll at amazon you can get vet wrap in various colors for about $1.50/roll that way if you get out on a damp day you can remove it and replace it.

Even plain tan vet wrap works well with a few swipes from a marking pen.

Camo Gorilla Tape works well too, I've tried others, but they are shiny and don't stick as well.

For cheek risers I've used inexpensive butt bags from amazon (I live where stores are a long way away). Pieces cut from old neoprene waders work to adjust the height.

Inexpensive vet wrap, the tape is to keep it in place as it goes into a back scabbard between stands. CZ 22 Mag
