Checkering Claro Walnut...

After JRS asked about checkering his African Obeche stock, I dug out my old highly figured Claro Walnut stock knowing it was on the soft side and started cutting grooves..
Worked out just fine but left the cuts a little fuzzy.
A folded V shaped piece of 600 grit worked the cuts over enough to smooth it all out...
Now for the sides !!!!!
