What's bad is I saw a HUGE black bear fathers day weekend coming back from the "Quigley Shoot" he was 350-400 pounds. On a side note, I ate a burger at the Quigley and it cost me over 3K. $8 for the burger chips and a drink. The remainder was for the rifle on order. lol...I think the bear ate the elk the 1st of the month and came back looking for leftovers.
I checked one of my game cameras and had a wonderful surprise. A black bear and a cow elk.
Looking at picture dates cow elk comes thru on the First. TWO weeks later on 6/14 the bear stops at the EXACT same spot. Simply unbelievable a bear's nose is that sensitive!!I checked one of my game cameras and had a wonderful surprise. A black bear and a cow elk.
They can let them go on my place.. lol.. I read about that. Plus the cougar in Colstrip..That's pretty cool. Our local fish and game just had to put down a black bear hanging out by the golf coarse here a couple weeks ago, just wouldn't get the hint to go away. Miles City

DirtySteve, I see you you have a pasture fence next to the pic of the bear. Do they avoid these fences or just push through and over them? Just something I’ve never thought about.I checked one of my game cameras and had a wonderful surprise. A black bear and a cow elk.
I have not seen them going through a fence so I don't know how they deal with them. I would bet the duck under or between strands. Most folks run 4 strands here in my area. One person I know runs 2 to 3. lol..DirtySteve, I see you you have a pasture fence next to the pic of the bear. Do they avoid these fences or just push through and over them?
