Is it safe to assume that all these hours are being spent due to potential ‘Classifieds’ problems?
I wonder ( and you’ll know) what percentage of site members are here strictly for the classifieds ?

Forum Boss: If we didn't have the classifieds, the scammers would have virtually no interest, so long as users weren't attempting to sell through other posts.

I can't answer your questions about how many users are here for the classifieds, but about 80% of PMs relate to sales.

What guarantee there that a password input on the check site isn't read and retained? The website says they do not save any info, but who do you trust these days? Tks

The two-factor verification process isn't hard to do. It's becoming a norm for more of what I use daily.

Sometimes you can't fix ppl. So many do not understand all the different boxes and checks.
No one is born with this knowledge , it has to be learned.

I'll never claim to be tech savvy! That coddling thing, my parents thought they had learned just enough technology to get buy. What a job! I'll always be there for them!

I was hacked on here a few years ago. Old, re-used password. I was suitably chastised by Forum Boss. I now have a randomly generated password saved in an encrypted password vault. KeePass is anyone is interested in the particulars. And two factor authentication set up. Don't be the guy hacked. It's bloody embarrassing.
