Cheaper chamber job for a non-comp rifle

On one hand I might be paranoid and judgmental based on price. On the other hand it’s premium equipment so it might be foolish to cheap out on the chambering.

Thoughts?

Does the fellow have some references? Another question: how pissed will you be if he trashes your reamer?

I'd possibly lean towards finding a less expensive barrel to send him and see how it works out. Keep the brux on the shelf for later.

I’ve chosen to use a different Smith for this chambering. :)

Its not that I expect it will go poorly, but the chance of such things will be smaller with a different gunsmith.
