ChatGPT's Answer to "Why does bullet jump affect precision?"

Isn't seating depth derived by the distance the bullet is jumped or jammed compared to the lands? Is seating depth just the amount it is into the lands?
Seating depth is derived by how far down into the case the bullet goes. When you're seating bullets, you check and/or adjust your seating depth with a comparator and the distance to the lands is not even an afterthought in that process (after you've figured out the distance from the lands for a starting point). Though, as I mentioned, when you change the seating depth, you're also changing the distance to the lands. But when you're jumping bullets, the distance to the lands isn't as important as your seating depth (evidence from how a seating depth that works well stays working well even when the jump changes due to throat erosion).

If one is seating bullets to touch or jam, that's a whole different story. :)

AI is extremely liberal opinionated. Yeah it’s pretty messed up in it’s imaginary head.
I found this too when I played around with it.
I like to try and educate AI to change its opinion with facts and reasoning
It got very offended at me about why a woman should not be president for example
Then come to understand my viewpoint after explaining that usually not always and does mean they all do
but in general in the majority of a bell curve
A woman will makes decision based on emotion overlooking facts logic and reasoning.
So , in my opinion AI is getting way too much bais from liberal gun grabber types and I wonder if helping it understand outside of things it normally gets fed, may come to change its own opinion.
It's kind of like voting, if the conservatives never vote, the liberals always get what they want
If we don't educate AI's opinions to our own, it may give only liberal advice to our youth and the next generation.
And with the fact AI is definitely taking over and being relied upon too much
I tend to think educating AI's opinions at least as if its uninformed of all the facts or opposite viewpoints may help.
-----------------
I mean, can you not see our politicians eventually relying on AI to start helping them make their deicions for them and writing our laws for us?
YOU KNOW, the military has got to be running battle scenarios past AI to arrive at the best approach to a situation even if they may not follow it, it may give them an angle they never contemplated.
What if the Military found that AI is right 99% of the time.
They would eventually just run a simulation and do what it says right?
Thats the scary part of AI to me, is people becoming the actual robot.
-----------------
Mainly I like to study physics so Ai can sometimes provide answers in that regard
What Gravity is for example
is it an actual force or time dilation?
the earth expanding is another theory (which I dont buy into lol)
How many physicist can you sit down and talk to that have a good vocabulary and understanding of string theory ya know, and not get frustrated if the student is not understanding??
It can be useful or even entertaining if you're careful with your topic

Is ChatGPT AI? It is my understanding that it finds answers on the Internet compiles them and writes an answer to your request from info it found. If that is true isn't it just a better search engine? I've have seen some pretty good answers on some reloading questions and it seems like it has it's act together.

I don't trust any computer program. You have to shoot the rifle to see what works. The Forum manager banned all AI data from this website.
Well, there is not that much of a difference between software like "Quickload" and an AI software like "Chatgpt", AI software is just a newer type of software development. Would I trust it at this point? No, but it for sure can provide some good initial insights.

Experience/information from individual user sessions is not used to update the base AI model.
Our 'conversations' are contained in a separate memory space dedicated to each individual.

If you've logged in/are recognized by the AI you're chatting with, it will remember the discussions with you but it won't pass that experience along to other users.

That’s kinda how I see it. I could do hours of research on several websites and find the same answers that AI can give me in 2 seconds.

I've recently started exploring AI (Artificial Intelligence) models to see what all the fuss is about in the press.

This morning, I asked ChatGPT (https://chatgpt.com) "Why does bullet jump affect precision?" Why that question? It's a topic that almost everyone has an opinion on (including me), be it an informed opinion, speculation, or simply something that sounded good when they read it in a blog or forum.

I was somewhat impressed by the answer I got from ChatGPT, so I've attached it to this Post.

ChatGPT's answer is simple, concise, and hits on most of the major reasons I've come to understand about why jump matters. It's also missing a few (likely secondary or tertiary issues) reasons I've read about, i.e. bullet base deformation, described by Harold Vaughn in Rifle Accuracy Facts, and other reasons covered by the likes of Jeff Stewert in his numerous writings (many listed in his Bulletology https://bulletology.com website and/or his book Ammunition, Demystified).
