Chasing throat erosion.

The vast majority of my better shooting rifles over the years have preferred bullets seated to just touch the lands. But what to do as the throat erodes ? Do you prefer to keep seating depth the same, or do you advocate chasing the "touch" ? I'll appreciate all words of experienced wisdom.

In a competition or target rifle, I'll chase the lands if doing so proves productive.

OTOH, I shoot a lot of pdogs, too, and I don't bother trying to chase the lands on those rifles. With 300-400 shots a day a not uncommon occurence, chasing the lands is pretty much an exercise in futility with a colony varmint rig.
