Chargemaster 1500 combo power supply

Hi guys, I'm in Australia & am organising money for a Chargemaster combo & got to thinking (bad idea) what was the differance between a 110v. model & a 220v. model which we have to use over here, obviously the power supply units recieve different voltages due to country power supplies but both put out 9 vdc, are the Chargemaster units also different for some reason???? Here a Chargemaster 1500 will set you back around $600.00 making importing one a lot cheaper. Thanks! Geoff

Just to answer my own question, I sent an E-mail to RCBS asking the same thing, did not expect an answer for a couple off days or more, BUT double credits to them a tech came back quickly & stated that either power supply 110v & 230v will work on a Chargemaster 1500, they both put out 9v DC, so the unit can be moved all over the world & you just need the corect power supply to suit that country. Aussie viewers take note! Information for power supply output is on the RCBS web site under manual downloads, 230v 50hz 9v DC 1A for us. ;)

I know it says 9V but if you put a vole meter on the converter you will see it is 12V. This is a good thing as it allows you to use your auto accessory plugs to get 12V DC from you car when/if you take your ChargeMaster to the range.

I bought a cigarette lug adapter with the correct connector to fit the ChargeMaster and have used it at the range with my car system.
