chamber reamer spec's?

does anyone know anything about chamber reamers and throats.lead in angles?
im interested in short range benchrest and what is a good throat length, lead in angle for 6mm . what works for extreem accurarcy at 100/200 yards. with 66-68 gr match bullets??

You might check out this drawing. I have a rifle that has this chamber. Of all the shart range Benchrest match bullets that are out there, there are only about 2 that the freebore is too long for. The rest work fine.

boyd i dont understand what im looking at. looks to me to be a very long throat?
i have heard , at least i think i have heard that people have had sticky cases with that reamer. understand i dont mean to be disrespectful,i just dont understand what im looking at and im trying to lean more about it. It also seems that its a short case length, im hearing that a longer case length say 1.565 with a zero free bore and a certain angle of lead(not sure what that is)at this time.,Is a beter shooter?? Im hopeing to learn more about this and find out what works well, if anyone is willing to give up the info.I know there are no secrets(or top secret reamers) but it seems i have heard(rumors on the street)lol.. that the longer necks with zero freebore's are working better or are more accurate. but i dont know anything about it, thats what im trying to find out.But if you run a case that is 1.490 and a chamber case length that is 1.565 that would seem like .025 freebore anyway right? im sorry boyd, i must be stupid as this seems to get very complicated.

Sorry ment 1.515 not 1.565...had BR on my mind.

Generally, it is not desirable to have too long a gap at the end of the case. If you have a chamber that is 1.565 to the end of the neck, you will probably end up with a .070 gap, given that cases shorten when fire formed and my usual trim length (to be able to square up the shortest in the set) ends up being 1.495. As to what the freebore in the drawing looks like, I hope that you are looking at the number and not the drawing, as they are schematic (not to scale). If you want to talk about reading the drawing, PM me with a phone number. Sometimes doing this as written correspondence is not the easiest way.
