I am trying to get chambered a 6x47(222 rem mag) and would much prefer using a pt&g reamer. Things have changed at pt&g and i' m not sure for the best. I'm into the second week of getting the specs of the reamer nailed down. I have talked with two very nice people who don't seem to know what the measurements of the reamer mean. I've measured my prepped brass carefully but now pt&g's reamer measurements are mostly taken from a point .060 in front of the boltface? I tried translating my numbers to theirs and explaining these to the nice person but they did not know of what I was asking as to chamber length...I didn't want .027 gap from case mouth to end of chamber. I got a reamer print yesterday with a chamber length that was ridiculous and "drawn" by someone other than the person I had spent time with. I was unable to get an answer yesterday after a few hours or listening to a machine that did not give a number to either of the two people in the print dept. I am not giving up but am frustrated. Who else should I consider? Thanks.
