Chamber plugs

Today I watched a video from the maker of Voodo rifles about plugging his chamber and filling the bore with Boretech carbon clear.
I have a 10/22 with a Volquartzen barrel and cannot scrub with a rod so I'm thinking this will be the only way to cut through the carbon ring in front of the chamber . Problem is I cannot find a rubber chamber plug for a 22LR.
Anyone here know of anyone that sells them?

While some may panic at seeing this crude tool I promise it is effective at removing a carbon ring. A little dip in C4 and a few twists then pull a few patches...

On factory 10-22s I just pull the barrel.

A 10-22 or variant must be disassembled to properly clean. You must remove bolt, barrel and trigger group. Doesn’t take long once you get the hang of it.

Using a rod voids Volquartzen's warranty . Impossible to clean properly any way you look at it. Sure I could pull the barrel, but I still wouldn't be able to use a bore guide . It shoots SK under 1/2" and closer to 1/4" regularly so I figure why mess with it and let the chemical take care of it. In 25 yrs it has only had a string with patches tied on to it

Key phrase there is "properly clean".
There is almost never a need(imo) for a thorough cleaning of 10/22 barrel.
Ever cople hundred rounds clean the chamber with your colorectal scrubber tool, then a toothbrush and a few Q-tips to clean up most of the fouling in the reciever. This keeps them running well for many thousands of rounds, and you can do it on the tailgate of your truck.

Why change what you are doing, as it is obviously working if it shoots that good? Shoot it and be happy!
