On the advice of someone I trust, I just used Dyna-Tek's ceramic bore coating product on a factory barrel of mine that's a horrible copper fouler. I'm not guy for snake oils or miracle-in-a-can, as anyone that knows me will tell you. And I'm not suggesting that this applies whatsoever to quality custom barrels. That said, I'll hang these pics for anyone that's interested and purely for the sake of discussion.
The first pic in each is after four shots from the barrel after being cleaned and JB'd to bare steel. Per my normal routine after cleaning, a patch with a couple drops of Kroil went down the barrel prior to the first shot.
The second pic is the same areas after ten shots after being cleaned, JB'd and treated following Dyna-Tek's instructions. The load was exactly the same in both cases.
