00My Cerakote guy said its 1,300 degrees to cure. Check for plastic internals. Aluminum frame holding glass lenses, with low tolerance internals?
Sketchy.
It’s 150* for 2hrs

Your guy has no clue what he is talking about. 1300 degrees would wreck the heat treatment of all the steel parts, melt the aluminum, and set any plastic on fire.My Cerakote guy said its 1,300 degrees to cure. Cerekote Elite series is 300 for 1 hr. I talked to Leupold and they said O-rings are sealed with a special grease that would melt. I did this VX3 with Cerekote H- series air cure. Dry time is one week! Butchs bore shine didn't touch it. Way, way better than paint. Mike
I cerakoted mine using air cure cerakote. No issues. I tried to remove the coating on the shade to test effectiveness. Coating is not coming off never. And paint remover will not work. And if trying to blast scope, I would not recommended. Once its one, thats it. 243lapua
