Ceracoting a skip fluted barrel ?

I just built a 6x284 with a light varmint barrel that is interupted fluted and i would like to ceracote the barrel and leave the flutes stainless . Has anyone else done this ? It looks like alot of razor blade work unless someone else has a trick to keep the paint out of the flutes.

There are some liquid masking agents available that you simply paint on with a small brush. I'll bet a body shop supply or automotive paint store would either stock them or know where to get them.
