Central Pa Springer Airgun Match results 12/21/24

In spite of the cold weather and holiday season we had 7 shooters compete in todays benchrest match. When we started matches and then moving to the half point scoring about a year ago a score of 26 to 27 per targer was s good score. Those that have kept shooting matches and practicing have seen their scores improving . Youthful Nick Wacher (84) with a fine 54.5 was our third place finisher today. The winner of our first match scored this way last year shot a 53.0. We are all learning and improving. Todays winner Jeff Gates shot 56.5 squeeking past second place Sam Salyards who had 55.5. Our next match, our first in 2025, will be on Sat . January 18th. This will be our first match with a few new rules. See the flyer in the pictures below along with the results and the winning set up which feature an Air Arms TX200, Hawke Scope, and JSB 8.44 gr pellets.Come join the fun and learn how good shooters are mastering spring guns. Some of our guys talk to themselves a lot. Especially if they are doing bad. However, I enforce a no profanity rule. Might let a quiet oh shit go by but fbombs or taking the Lord's name in vain.....Your history.

I guess you would hear all kinds of things without ear protection and no muzzle blast. Mastering an air rifle and my tongue at the same time might be the Ultimate Challange.
