Our first Springer Air Rifle Match of the New Year brought out 9 shooters. Sam Salyards, our score keeper, shot a sizzling 55.5 to win First Place. Nick Wacher who keeps telling us he is old and can't see garnered Second. George Price who manages to usually get in the money took Third. The rest of us showed up, ate homemade chocolate cake and apples, while having a good time. Our February match will be Sat. 2/17/24. First relay to the line at 9am. I'd like to know more about what and how you shoot, see some guns and see some targets. Thanks for sharing. getting 9 springer shooters together is quite a feat by itself. Good job and thanks for posting.

Jeeeeez Jeff !! Someone running a fan in the room, or did the
furnace kick on during your string ?? LOL Check your mail box
Monday......

Lol, yes.. when the heater comes on you better click left or you will scratch your head. You know me Fuj lost without my windflags. Speaking of my buddy Fuj, he gifted me with a set of 6 J Mayo bright raspberry sail tails. They arrived today. Great sail tails. Rest assured buddy I will keep an eye on your scores this coming season, lol.

We shoot 20 meters 40 shoots. It's the NRA style standing 50 ft target. I reduced it 20 percent as it was too easy. By the 6th shoot we were getting 2 or 3, or 4 perfect scores every match. We started adding a .5 bonus on each animal if the entire pellet is within the animal(worse edge scored). Here is a pic or two. I shoot a lot at notebook reinforcement rings, this will give you an accuracy idea. I was testing pellets I think on these.

Very neat. I appreciate you posting that. I had a TX200 and a pro sport many many moons ago.Very nice guns. I had a Theoben SLR back around then as well and wish I still had that rifle although I dont know what I would do for magazines when they fail.

Again I appreciate you posting. I wish there was more more interest in the sport as I would jump back into it in a heartbeat.

Nickle a shot, no reloading, almost no cleaning. What's not to like. It will teach you bench manners like nothing else.
