What’s the story on these? Have any of you researched these?

Where do you get:
mixture of lead styphnate, antimony sulfide, barium nitrate, and other chemicals?

I was wondering the same thing. But if there was some of these components available I would think some here would know.

So I reckon we can reuse the anvils? This should bring primers prices down to ??? The large tool, is it pistol or rifle? Or just make a little punch to wack the inside of a spent primer back to flat? Was gonna comment but all I did was ask 4 questions!

There are guys at Cast Boolits that are making their own, and have been for a while. Most that make their own reuse old cups and anvils. There was a post on making primer compound with German made toy pistol caps as compound. He had high speed electronics that showed only a 4 millisecond slower ignition than factory made. While i am not sure if I am ready to try, I am ready to look at the idea and tools. Several companies are also making a kit to reload 22LR.

This falls into the arena of "Stuff I Don't Need To Chase", which includes other ideas like trying to make copper jackets for bullets out of 22lr cases or perhaps forming your own lead shot for shotguns. Slippery slope... next thing you know you are trying to make fireworks in your basement.

Before I have any new ideas on re-creating the wheel, I go to YouTube and do a search on the topic. This usually turns up a few dozen examples of what/how it will go wrong and law enforcement's involvement in the aftermath. NOPE!!!

I am apparently behind the times on this subject. I received an email from a supplier offering the kit for primer making . I looked it over and then emailed back. I asked where the anvils were to be purchased. The reply that I received was, ask the manufacturer. I believe I’ll pass on this endeavor. My competition reloading is already time consuming enough. I sorted Bullets yesterday. There‘s almost two hours of my life that I’ll never recover ! Sorting primers is as far as I will go.

Too much work unless you're in a "Zombie Apocalypse" or "After the Atomic War" movie and there is no other source.
I got the hairbrained make 7.62x25 brass from 5.56 once. One session taught me enough about the ROI of my time.
