CCI Standard Velocity Surprising Results

The wife and I both have a Ruger 10/22 we built up the way we wanted them. We used basically the same components, 20" Green Mountain barrels, Volquartzsen triggers and Boyds stocks. My rifle will shoot pretty much anything pretty good but prefers the Wolf Match for top accuracy. Hers however is an anomaly, the more expensive the ammo the worse hers shoots. Hers absolutely hates pretty much any match ammo you put in it but will absolutely bug hole the blazer ammo. Drives me crazy that she can print groups smaller than me at 1/3 the cost. .22s are frustrating.

I have a Savage with a heavy barrel that loves CCI Mini Mags. It shoots it better than almost any match ammo.

I recently picked up some Aguila super extra. Never used it before. Runs VERY well in my stock ish 10/22 and my MKlll. I mostly shoot rimfire challenge not benchrest so I can’t speak to accuracy but it’s just runs.

Years back in my Small Bore Days. CCI SV by the case. Sort with Head space Gauge , shot in door 4 P.
Won the Club year with a 396 Av.
In my 1972 Annie and Prone Matches in my 52C.
Wish I had known about head space (rim thickness ) measurement a few years ago. What a difference it makes~!!
