CCI OEM????

Have a chance to purchase some of this, but don't know anything about OEM. Why is it not just CCI450?

I've gotten a couple of those boxes in the past.
My understanding is they are supposed to be sold only to OEM manufacturers.
Each time I got a box it was from a low price supplier => I'm guessing they are being sold by the OEM to a retailer who sells to you and me.

In any case, they are just 450's in different packaging.

These are the same primers but for oem us only. An oem signs an agreement that they will not resell them. If found that one has violated that agreement they may loose their ability to buy in the future.

OEM primers are sold without the 11% federal excise tax added.

The tax is collected/paid when the ammo is sold.

I've used several cases of CCI OEM primers in various flavors. I haven't noticed any differencebetween those and the regular retail packages.
