CCI lot/date code

[6.5 forever]

Picked up a case of CCI 450 from a local gunsmith. I have read about determining the date by the lot number. But this old man can't figure out the year. I believe Feb 17 is the date.

Lot : B17V11. Year?

Now before all the funny guys jump in and tell me they are too old and volunteer to dispose of them, I know they are good. I just want to put them into my inventory in order by year.

Any help?

Date on primers

Does cci primers have a date on them or a date code

I also get V=2014 like @newbieshooter. 1995 was "A" and runs through the alphabet skipping "I" and "O". 2019 starts over at "A" again.

I tested 40 year old primers not long ago...made a YouTube video out of it. They ran fine. Ten years is nothing if they were properly stored.
